Santa Letters, offering Christmas stickers, Coloring books and Stockings.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I was reading about moms working at home from their computers. I thought about Christmas and how much fun it is to give to children. Children really believe in Santa Claus. A letter would be a perfect gift!
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first website was launched on January 2007. It's a Santa Letter website.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Just thinking of something special, since these letters are special.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
My Santa letters are different , since I offer lots of designs to choose from and a choice of words.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep going every year, getting better.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I am doing okay for a beginner. Time will tell how well I will do.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I wouldn't change anything.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Oh yes ! I would hire relatives quickly.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
No problems yet. Its quiet easy. I pre-planned everything.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Yahoo search marketing and Google
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I'm hopeing for more income next year.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Since January 2007. Will continue this forever.
How much fun do do have running this website?
There's lots of excitement here around the holidays. The more work, the more happy I am.
