Christmas is one of the highly recognized celebrations in the Philippines. All people in the Philippines celebrate it in a religious way since majority are Roman Catholic. They have this so called "Simbang Gabi" in which they passionately go to church at early dawn to hear the mass. This is being done nine days before the Christmas. Filipinos are more particular of giving gratitude to the Almighty Creator and manifest love to their family at Christmas Eve. They usually give presents, eat together with special foods on the table, while some use fireworks to make the celebration more flashy.
