The Threat of a Holiday Letdown

Free Parking

In Edinburgh, shoppers will given free parking at night and at Saturday afternoons on November up to early January to boost the city's centre trade.

This will make the parking free from 5:30 pm in weekdays and from 1:00 pm every Saturday in on-street pay and displays bays and expected to attract early Christmas shoppers.

This city leaders move that cost around £70,000 will try to help traders hit by the tram works and economic slowdown.
