In Edinburgh, shoppers will given free parking at night and at Saturday afternoons on November up to early January to boost the city's centre trade. This will make the parking free from 5:30 pm in weekdays and from 1:00 pm every Saturday in on-street pay and displays bays and expected to attract early Christmas shoppers.
