Giving gifts is already a tradition during the holiday season, but now that we are in a financial crisis, can we still afford to give?

Not if you don't know how to be resourceful. You don't have to spend much on gifts. As the cliche goes, it's the thought that counts. You can be frugal and yet come up with a gift that will touch your loved one. Here are some tips from CNN.

Will Online Sales Boost the Holiday Spirits?

It is not surprising that sales growth will be almost nil this holiday season for the reasons that credit is tight and that customers are expected to spend a little on christmas shopping. This is projected for the christmas shop by the sidewalk, though. Online businesses are different because they are projected to expand largely this Christmas. Why so? We'll try to discuss that here.

Christmas in Rockport Committee is working hard for preparations for the holiday season. They are seeking help and support to all in the Rockport business sector for the annual holiday program which extends from Thanksgiving through Christmas.

The program has a budget of over $11,000.00, including the inaugural of "Rockport Holiday Homecoming Weekend" and more events for the holiday. More details on the link below.

Christmas Shopping in North Carolina

Halloween's over and there are a few special holidays left before we go to that yearens special--Christmas.

Shopping centers and other shops are now hardpressed to show off what they got and convince buyers to do their christmas shopping with them. What's on now that the christmas atmosphere is somewhee around the corner? Let's check North Carolina.

Holiday Workforce

The state Employment Security Commission predicts that there will be fewer holiday this year. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, over 251,000 retail jobs have been lost in this years. Some of the companies are offering partimers extra hours just to cut the expense of training new employees and other are giving preference to return hires for the same reason.
