Gift giving is one of the most heartwarming activity on every Christmas. Giving presents to your love ones, to your children, to your partners to your parents, give a very nice feeling.

What is the Radish Festival?

The Radish Festival is a celebration held during December 23 in Oaxaca, Mexico. No one knows how this festival really originated.

During the festival, artists carve out radishes and decorate them to make different figures of animals, people and things. On the night of December 23, the radish sculptures are displayed in the Zocalo to compete with each other. Aside from this contest, there are radish carving workshops for children and parade of floats around the Zocalo.
