It is not surprising that sales growth will be almost nil this holiday season for the reasons that credit is tight and that customers are expected to spend a little on christmas shopping. This is projected for the christmas shop by the sidewalk, though. Online businesses are different because they are projected to expand largely this Christmas. Why so? The state Employment Security Commission predicts that there will be fewer holiday this year. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, over 251,000 retail jobs have been lost in this years.
